Leices: About Dog Trainer

At home private lessons are available by appointment in cases where it is not possible to attend a group course. Generally 3 lessons in length, which vary from 1-1.5 hours up and it covers the same areas as a Group Beginners Course and can be conducted at home.

We teach puppies and handlers/owners constructive and valuable exercises. We also teach them how to play with puppies.

Ability to work as a team between the dog & handler with trust and understanding. To possesses physical & mental traits that render possible an ever-ready working with cooperative, adapting to every situation & take to work willingly with courage & hardness to defend his property readily for challenges to attack.

Protection is a wonderful sport. It is fun for both the dog and the handler, it's challenging and rewarding. The evaluation is the best way we have of testing a dog's temperament, dog’s aggression, gun shyness, and other temperament and character faults that degrade working ability.

It's how well the dog puts it all together under stressful conditions. The dog will demonstrate his level of training, his guideability, self-confidence, courage, sovereignty, nerve soundness, etc..to an impartial evaluator on a strange field with a strange helper. Dog should be joyful but precise and controlled in the obedience and should be confident, active, powerful yet obedient in the protection.
