The decanic acid in PETVITAL® Novermin withdraws the water from vermin after contact (dehydration), it drains and dies (mechanical killing).Margosaextract works as natural repellent and prevents as far as possible the infesta- tion with vermin (vermin pushes off by the smell of the margosaextract). If nevertheless vermin sits down on the animal, the decanic acid works as described above:
Double protection. No resistance development possible.Application:Depending upon size and skin condition of the animal (large, small, long or short- haired, undercoat or not) a part or the whole content of the ampoule is applied drop by drop, approx. every 3 – 5 cm, from the head roof to the tail root. Before the application the hair must be parted in order that the small drops can be applied directly on the skin. Use sparely! Do not rub with the finger! Do not apply on the coat! Do not apply in the area of eyes and mouth! Application only on intact skin! Do not applicate on wounds and/or skin lesions!In rare cases allergic reactions, locally or systemically, are possible.
In the case of use of other spot-ons (before or afterwards, chemically or naturally) wait for 6 weeks before a new application!Puppies/young cats should have at least 1 kg body-weight to be able to use PETVITAL® Novermin.
